About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of recent Labor Delivery / OB experience required License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active AWHONN certification, Active NRP certification Must-Have: Fetal monitoring experience required, previous travel experience highly preferred Description: Must be proficient and experienced from patient check-in to pre/post-care to discharge. Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient needs and establish a plan of care. Implement interventions and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. Manage high-risk pregnancy management, including preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, and VBAC. Conduct prenatal testing and amniocentesis. Provide childbirth education classes. Permanent address must be included in application. RTO must be included and limited to 5 days.
