Collections Analyst

Our client is seeking a Collections Analyst to join their accounting team. This individual will focus on improving collections performance through data analysis, automation, and process optimization, while leveraging tools such as HighRadius. The role operates both tactically and strategically—managing day-to-day collections activity while identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, reduce aging, and improve cash flow. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, including outreach on past due balances and resolution of discrepancies Analyze accounts receivable data, payment trends, and aging reports to prioritize collection strategies Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, sales, and customer‑facing teams to resolve billing issues and improve collections outcomes Support and optimize automation efforts within HighRadius, including collections workflows and cash application Monitor automated outreach efforts and manage escalated or complex accounts Prepare reporting on aging, delinquency trends, and cash flow forecasts Maintain accurate documentation of collection activity within internal systems Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements Participate in system enhancements and provide feedback on tools and reporting capabilities Review and resolve customer disputes with timely follow‑up Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related finance function Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel functionality Exposure to HighRadius or similar AR automation platforms preferred Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus Experience in high‑volume or shared services environments is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Carolina PRG
