What you'll do The short version DodiHome is a profitable, fast-growing custom kitchen design and manufacturing company that runs on software we built ourselves - including an AI agent workforce of eleven (and growing) named agents that handles sales follow-up, purchasing controls, customer-success tracking, bilingual production support, and daily operational briefings. The agents do the coordination. What they can't do is decide. We're hiring the human they report to. What you'll do Every morning the fleet briefs you: overnight escalations, purchase approvals waiting, orders at risk, vendor exceptions, customers who've gone quiet. Your job is judgment and follow-through: Make the calls the system reserves for humans - approvals, exceptions, customer accommodations, schedule trade-offs - and keep the queue moving. Our standard: nothing waits more than 48 hours for a decision. Own the client journey from signed order to installed kitchen - production handoffs, vendor and logistics management, delivery day. Walk the floor. This is a physical business with a real shop. You'll work daily with our production team and vendors, in person. Turn your decisions into policy. When you resolve something twice, you write the rule so the system handles it the third time. Over your first year, the operations playbook you write becomes how the company runs. Run the business day-to-day so the founder doesn't have to. This is a general management job with real authority, not a coordination role. The bar is explicit: within 90 days, the founder is out of daily operations entirely - you own the queue, the approvals, and the floor. By the end of year one, on-time delivery is measured and improving, and the playbook you've written is the operating manual. Who does well here You've run something. A plant, a branch, a shop, a restaurant group, a military unit, a field-service territory - an operation where the buck stopped with you. 5+ years of operational leadership with real decision authority. An AI workforce that eliminates status meetings sounds energizing to you, not threatening. You'd rather make ten good decisions a day than write a hundred updates. You're decisive with incomplete information and you close loops - vendors, customers, and the shop floor all know that when you say it's handled, it's handled. You're Bay Area-based and on-site five days a week in Milpitas . The decisions in this job live on the shop floor. Nice to have: custom manufacturing, kitchen & bath, or construction background; vendor negotiation experience; Mandarin.
