Classified Cybersecurity Analysts help secure lifesaving products and critical state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing systems by applying cutting edge cybersecurity principles. Rising to the challenge of building a more secure world for the warfighter, space exploration, climate sustainability and commercial use.The work that Cybersecurity Analysts do can be summarized in this way:- You will have a direct impact to national security, ultimately contributing to protecting your loved ones – this is dynamic, gratifying and impactful work!- You will have the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the cyber discipline- You can enjoy a work-life balance that allows for flex hours and a family-first cultureKey Responsibilities of this role includes:- Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.- Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF). - Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.- Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.- Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.- Balance competing priorities amongst multiple customers and programs.- Auditing is a large part of this role’s responsibility.Basic Qualifications• Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance• DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire• Information Systems auditing experience• Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools• Technical familiarity with Windows or Linux-based operating systems, and their security requirementsDesired Skills- Knowledge of network security (e.g., encryption, firewalls, authentication, perimeter protection).- Knowledge of network design processes, to include understanding of security objectives, operational objectives, and trade-offs.- Knowledge of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), classified computer operations and experience with the technical configuration requirements for various operating Systems- Demonstrated experience executing Security Hardening on diverse LINUX and Windows Operating Systems based on approved DISA STIGs and SRGs.- Advanced knowledge of with Risk Management Framework (RMF) as Subject Matter Expert (SME)implementation across multiple phases of a large program.- Demonstrated technical experience configuring Windows, Networking, and NIX-based operating systems IAW DISA STIGs- In-depth experience in system hardening, analysis, and vulnerability management- Knowledgeable in Solaris/UNIX/Linux command line- Experience implementing complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an Enterprise level- Prior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) or System Administration experience.Interview QuestionsProblem solving: Recall a time from your work experience when your manager was unavailable when a problem arose.
