*In-Process Inspector

In-Process Inspector AOI Monitor and inspect circuit board assemblies manufactured in the SMT department utilizing Automatic Optical (AOI) and/or X-ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality and reliability. Nature of Duties Monitor SMT product at defined station(s) utilizing AOI or 5DX Identify components including part numbers, values, package size/shape, placement and solderability Report findings to appropriate personnel, and record findings on applicable documentation Perform other responsibilities as needed Excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at once Collaborate with SMT Machine Operator on concerns with components and technical support staff for immediate results Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary Must have a strong attention to detail Ability to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time Education and Experience Requirements Experience utilizing AOI and/or 5DX equipment Working knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines Must be available for overtime as needed Soldercertified and experience in electronics or contract manufacturing preferred Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing and knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines preferred Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sanmina Corporation
