Sales Rep, Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) - New Orleans, LA

Medtronic seeks a field-based Sales Representative for its Peripheral Nervous System portfolio in New Orleans, covering physician relationships and territory sales goals. The role focuses on account development, clinical knowledge, and hospital stakeholder engagement for minimally invasive pain management technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account and territory plans to meet assigned sales objectives
• Build relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders to establish customer-centric culture
• Track contacts, activities, and follow-ups using computer-based account management systems
• Coordinate hospital product approval processes and assist surgeon training and education
• Support clinical activities including Grand Rounds presentations, case studies, and trade show participation

Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent plus 6+ years medical device, healthcare, or life sciences sales experience
• Or associate degree plus 4+ years relevant sales or clinical experience
• Or bachelor's degree plus 2+ years relevant sales or clinical experience
• Knowledge of reimbursement landscape and managed care
• Experience calling on physicians in neurology, physiatry, oncology, or primary care
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with implantable devices and operating room environments
