Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated School Psychologist in a collaborative educational setting. This full-time role offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference while working across no more than two buildings, potentially serving both elementary and secondary students.
Your days will be structured and engaging—whether working elementary hours (8:15 am to 3:45 pm) or secondary hours (7:30 am to 3:00 pm)—allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while focusing on the unique developmental needs of each student population.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current credential as a School Psychologist
- Experience within K-12 school settings, preferably with exposure to both elementary and secondary levels
- Proficiency in student assessment, intervention planning, and team collaboration
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for IEP and eligibility purposes
- Develop and implement interventions to support student academic and emotional growth
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to address student needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to data-driven decisions
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Ensure thorough documentation and compliance with school and state policies
