Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ Years License: Active RN License Required Certifications: BLS, PALS (Preferred) Must-Have: 2+ Years Experience with Adult Patients, 2+ Years Experience with Pediatric Patients Description: 225-bed specialty care hospital. Offers a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. Provides premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. Largest community in the central region of a state. Located in the upper peninsula. Unit Information: Number of Beds: 24 Patient Ratios: 1:6 Equipment: EHR: Paragon, switching to Cerner on March 1, 2024. Supervisor: 1-2 Patient Population includes all ages over 28 days. Hiring Profile: Required Education: ADN Dress Code: Scrub color is Galaxy Blue. Please see HR Dress Code and Appearance Policy for unacceptable attire. Additional Notes: Float Requirements: Yes, to inpatient units. Common Diagnosis/Treatment includes Trauma and Post-operative Orthopedic/Neuro cases, as well as General Pediatric cases (0-3 rooms on average).
