Electronic Kitter/ Assembler

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kitter to join our team in East Setauket, NY. The Kitter will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and assembling materials and components according to production requirements, ensuring that parts are accurate, complete, and available when needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, quality-conscious, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to follow detailed instructions and procedures. This is a permanent opportunity Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm $22.00-$25.00 an hour ( Based on experience)  Full time hours

Responsibilities

• Pull, count, organize, and stage materials and components for production.
• Assemble kits according to work orders, bills of materials, drawings, or established procedures.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and materials for accuracy.
• Label and package components appropriately.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies or shortages.
• Ensure kits are complete and ready for production in a timely manner.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, or other issues to the appropriate team members.
• Perform other warehouse, material-handling, and production-support duties as needed.
