Teacher Aide

The Sprout School is a dynamic, inclusive early childhood center with five locations throughout the city of Richmond. Position Overview We are seeking a supportive, dependable Teacher Aide to assist classroom teachers in creating a warm, engaging, and safe learning environment for children. This role is ideal for someone beginning their early childhood education journey and eager to learn in a collaborative, child-centered setting. Responsibilities

• Assist lead and assistant teachers with classroom routines and supervision.
• Support children during play, meals, and transitions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and enriching environment.
• Set up materials for activities and assist with basic documentation.
• Model respectful, nurturing interactions with children.
• Participate in team discussions and professional development sessions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Good written and oral communication skills. Some knowledge of principles and techniques of Early Childhood Education.
