Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,205 per week

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Forth Worth, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

Contract Details

• Location: Fort Worth, TX
• Shift Options: Days — flexible for either 3x12s or 4x10s
• Weekends: 1 weekend required per month (plus 6-7 week days per month depending on schedule)
• On-Call: 4 to 5 call days per month. Note: You must be willing to take trauma call at the main MCAL campus.
• Time Off: Candidates not requesting time off during the contract will be highly preferred/considered first.
• Floating: Required to float/share staff between the Surgical Hospital and the main Alliance campus.

Facility & Unit Overview

• Unit Layout: 7 Operating Rooms located on the 1st floor.
• Case Volume: Typically 4 to 5 cases per team, per day.
• Team Structure: Highly supported rooms! Standard day shift teams consist of 1 RN Circulator and 2 Surgical Techs (CSTs).
• Culture: Looking for a positive, hard worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable jumping in at the main hospital for trauma call.

Case Mix & Procedures

• Orthopedics: Total joints, hip replacements, tibia and fibula surgeries, ankles, feet, and mid-foot joints.
• Plastics/Reconstructive: Breast reductions, tissue expansions, and Breast Reconstruction (including DIEP Flaps).
• Robotics: DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems.

Requirements & Experience

• Clinical Skills (Must Have): Strong RN Circulator skills required. Must be highly competent in prepping the patient, positioning on the hospital bed/OR table for various surgical specialties, and monitoring all room equipment.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of OR circulating experience is strongly preferred.
• License: Active Texas (TX) or multi-state Compact RN license required.
