Join a major Oracle Cloud HCM transformation supporting a complex public-sector environment. This long-term consulting engagement brings together experienced Oracle professionals to deliver a full lifecycle cloud implementation, from early-stage requirements and design through deployment and operational handoff.

The Data Conversion Consultant will play a critical role in ensuring legacy workforce data is accurately transformed, migrated, validated, and reconciled within Oracle Cloud HCM. This is a highly collaborative consulting environment requiring both strong hands-on delivery skills and the ability to work effectively with functional, technical, and business stakeholders.

• Long-term engagement: Initial 12+ month assignment with potential for a longer project lifecycle.
• Remote-first: Work primarily remotely from anywhere in the United States.
• Periodic travel to the Washington, DC area may be required for project kickoff, implementation milestones, releases, or go-live activities.
• Required project travel will be covered.
• Opportunity to participate in a large-scale Oracle Cloud HCM transformation from implementation through delivery and handoff.
• This position requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Federal Public Trust determination .
• An existing Public Trust or active clearance is not required .

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead and execute data conversion activities supporting an enterprise Oracle Cloud HCM implementation.
• Analyze legacy HR and workforce data and translate it into appropriate Oracle Cloud HCM structures.
• Develop data mapping, cleansing, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and validation processes.
• Work with functional and technical workstreams to define conversion requirements and resolve complex data issues.
• Execute Oracle Cloud HCM data loads and troubleshoot conversion failures, validation errors, and data-quality discrepancies.
• Support multiple mock conversion cycles, testing phases, implementation milestones, cutover, and production deployment.
• Help establish repeatable conversion processes and controls that support data accuracy and implementation readiness.
• Participate throughout the implementation lifecycle rather than performing conversion as a standalone activity.
• Communicate findings, dependencies, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical teams, functional leads, and project stakeholders.

Are You An Experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Data Conversion Professional Ready To Make An Impact?

• Approximately 7+ years of relevant enterprise technology or consulting experience preferred, with substantial Oracle HCM experience.
• Recent hands-on experience working with Oracle Cloud/Fusion HCM , ideally throughout the last several years.
• Strong experience performing Oracle HCM data conversion, migration, transformation, and reconciliation .
• Hands-on experience using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and related Oracle Cloud data-loading capabilities.
• Experience mapping legacy HR data into Oracle HCM employee, assignment, organization, position, job, compensation, or related structures.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot conversion errors and resolve complex data-quality issues.
• Experience supporting complete implementation lifecycles from requirements and design through cutover, go-live, and handoff is highly desirable.
• Previous consulting experience within a major consulting organization or independent consulting practice is strongly preferred.
• Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and consulting skills.
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating across functional and technical workstreams.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be willing and eligible to complete the federal background investigation associated with a Public Trust determination.
• Ability to travel periodically to the Washington, DC area when required by project milestones.
