Shift: PRN, as needed

Job Summary: Responsible for all office duties; greeting, directing and scheduling patients and visitors; registration information including financial data; receiving cash payments/receipts, enters charges as appropriate; uses EHR to communicate effectively and has excellent communication skills in all venues.

Responsibilities:

• Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate registration, scheduling, and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and communicate patient financial responsibilities.
• Collect and post patient payments, copays, and outstanding balances; reconcile daily transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient inquiries in person and by phone.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguard confidential patient information.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
• 1 Year of Related Experience (Preferred)
