CT Scan Technologist The CT Scan Technologist utilizes advanced, non‑invasive computerized medical technology to capture detailed CT images to diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. This position is a full‑time, 40‑hour position with variable shift schedule. Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana Schedule: Variable Shift; Full‑Time – 40 hours per week. Day Shift – 10 hours. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring techniques comply with ACR standards and ALARA principles. Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams. Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I‑stat competencies. Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and post‑exam instructions. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department. Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns per department protocols. Accurately document all exam‑related information and adhere to department procedures. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required). Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required). Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required). Register in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT preferred, or obtain within 18 months of hire (required). Current BLS CPR certification (required). Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive situations. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Duties Conduct beginning and end of day duties as defined in department procedures. Stock assigned areas and assist with supply outdates. Adhere to radiation and magnet safety protocols. Evaluate information to ensure appropriate scans for accurate diagnosis. Review orders, prior exams, labs, and patient history.
