Join Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC today.The Network Engineer will support Barrow Wise's Chicago Board of Education project and perform the following duties:Continuously monitor the maintenance of network systems, including performing regular updates, patches, and firmware upgradesWork with other technical groups to help resolve network and non-network issuesMonitor network traffic for potential security breaches, respond to security incidents, and take proactive measuresDemonstrate advanced knowledge in routing protocols such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)Demonstrate experience with Linux/Unix operating systems such as Red Hat and Solaris, as well as managing systems via SNMPDemonstrate strong skills in switches, routers, load balancers, and firewallsAn ideal candidate has the following:U.S. CitizenshipMinimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or better.Ten (10) years of experience supporting network infrastructure in a large corporate environmentJoin the team at Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC for a fulfilling and engaging experience!
