Project Manager - Data CenterPosition Overview

Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects from preconstruction and procurement through construction, Level 1-5 commissioning, IST, and turnover . Manage cost, schedule, risk, vendors, MEP systems, and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

• Manage project planning, construction, commissioning, IST, and final turnover.

• Develop and manage P6/MS Project schedules, milestones, critical path, and recovery plans.

• Oversee budgets, forecasting, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project controls.

• Coordinate long-lead equipment including switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, and CRAH/CRAC systems .

• Coordinate MEP, BMS/EPMS, OEM, commissioning, and client operations teams.

• Lead FAT, SAT, Level 1-5 commissioning, IST, energization, and MOP/SOP/EOP activities .

• Ensure required redundancy ( N, N+1, 2N, 2N+1) and applicable QA/QC, safety, and industry standards.

• Manage risks and provide clear reporting on cost, schedule, quality, safety, procurement, and commissioning readiness.

• 7+ years of construction project management experience, including 3+ years in data centers/mission-critical projects .

• Experience delivering $20M+ projects on fast-track schedules.

• Strong knowledge of MEP, critical power/cooling, BMS/EPMS, and redundancy systems .

• Proven Level 1-5 commissioning and IST experience.

• Proficiency with P6/MS Project, Procore , and cost management tools.

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

• Hyperscale/colocation data center experience.

• Knowledge of Uptime Institute, TIA-942, and ASHRAE TC 9.9 .

• Experience with live-site upgrades and phased turnover.

• PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification.
