We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong Financial Risk Modeling and Risk Analytics experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent programming and algorithmic skills, strong experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, and a solid background in Financial Services and Risk Modeling. The ideal candidate will have excellent programming and algorithmic skills, strong experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, and a solid background in Financial Services and Risk Modeling. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain risk modeling and financial analytics applications using Python and PySpark.
- Design and implement efficient algorithms for complex financial and risk-related problems.
- Develop, enhance, and validate financial risk models and analytical solutions.
- Work with large datasets using PySpark and SQL.
- Perform data analysis, transformation, validation, and model-related calculations.
- Collaborate with risk, quantitative, data, and technology teams.
- Support model development, testing, validation, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot performance and data quality issues in risk analytics applications.
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- Strong proficiency in PySpark
- Strong algorithm and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Financial Risk Modeling / Risk Analytics
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong Financial Services / Banking domain background
- Experience working with large datasets and data processing frameworks
