Job Requirements All candidates must be certified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in History (8-12). Teaching Experience: Prior classroom experience is preferred, with specific emphasis on: Advanced Placement (AP) – experience in AP instruction and curriculum development is highly desirable and elective development – proven track record of designing and teaching high-interest electives within the Humanities (e.g., Sociology, Philosophy, Law, or Global Studies).
