Job Summary

Our client is seeking an energetic and responsible individual to work as a Production Assembler. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this individual will handle all assembly functions associated with the manufacturing process. They must have strong communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and be committed to delivering superior-quality workmanship.

Job Description

Under the leadership (and in collaboration with) the Operations Manager, perform the following duties:

• Read and assemble Client products according to assembly instructions
• Operate automated test, HiPot, and HASS environmental test systems
• Participate in incoming inspection processes and ongoing quality control checks
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in assembly and testing of electronic assemblies in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
• Attention to detail reinforcing Client quality standards and practices
• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing practices and terminology, including ESD, HiPot, burn-in, SMT, AOI, and other industry terminology
• Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and soldering skills are a must
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Ability to read and follow instructions in written and oral English
• Proficient in Word, Excel, databases, and Outlook

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3 years’ experience in assembly and testing of electronic assemblies in an ISO 9001
• manufacturing environment

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Background check results satisfactory to Client
• Work Hours: Mon to Fri. 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. On-site

Pay Rate/Salary

• $40K Annually. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
