Lead a Diverse 2nd Shift Manufacturing Team

Custom Filters Direct is hiring an experienced Bilingual Production Supervisor – English/Spanish to lead our 2nd Shift manufacturing team in Bloomsburg, PA.

Our production workforce includes both English- and Spanish-speaking employees, so strong bilingual communication is an essential part of this position.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build relationships with employees, communicate expectations clearly in both languages, manage staffing and production demands, and keep the shift operating safely and efficiently.

Employees are also eligible for a $50 attendance bonus each week with no missed time — potentially an additional $2,600 per year.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise production employees throughout 2nd shift
• Communicate daily instructions, expectations, and production priorities in both English and Spanish
• Serve as a key point of communication between Spanish-speaking employees, English-speaking employees, and management
• Ensure employees clearly understand safety, quality, attendance, and production expectations
• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the production floor
• Coach, train, support, and develop employees
• Address attendance, productivity, performance, and workplace concerns
• Help resolve communication barriers between employees and leadership
• Track daily staffing and headcount for both permanent and temporary employees
• Coordinate staffing needs and communicate shortages to HR and management
• Work with multiple staffing agencies to maintain appropriate 2nd shift staffing levels
• Ensure daily production schedules and output goals are achieved
• Monitor product quality and ensure manufacturing standards are followed
• Partner with Maintenance to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime
• Partner with Quality to address product or process concerns
• Identify production bottlenecks and opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency
• Complete production reports, staffing updates, and other required documentation
• Communicate shift performance, employee concerns, and operational priorities to leadership
• Promote a safe, organized, respectful, and productive work environment

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Fluent or strong working proficiency in both English and Spanish
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience leading employees in a fast-paced operation
• Ability to communicate instructions, coaching, and performance expectations effectively in both English and Spanish
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Ability to coach employees and hold team members accountable
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing changing production and staffing priorities
• Computer skills for reporting, staffing information, and documentation
• Dependable attendance and ability to work required overtime

Preferred:

• Experience supervising a bilingual or multilingual workforce
• Experience managing larger production teams
• Experience working with temporary staffing agencies
• Experience tracking employee attendance and daily headcount
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
• Experience partnering with Maintenance and Quality departments
• Microsoft Office or production-reporting system experience

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

Additional hours and overtime may be required based on business needs.
