Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct in-depth assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique challenges and goals. \n Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers, such as physicians, to report on patient progress, needs, and potential concerns. \n Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during emergencies, utilizing established protocols to ensure client safety. \n Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records, including progress notes and treatment documentation, adhering to departmental policies and HIPAA regulations. \n Engage and coordinate with clients’ family members or support systems in the treatment process, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care. \n Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly to ensure the effectiveness of treatment. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will work primarily with individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Your role is essential in guiding clients through their personal journeys, empowering them to develop healthier relationships and coping strategies. You will play a pivotal role in fostering resilience and promoting sustainable mental wellness. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required. \n Active state licensing as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or its equivalent is mandatory. \n Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient therapeutic setting, demonstrating a strong background in family systems and relational therapy. \n Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, word processing, email, and spreadsheet applications. \n Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your schedule while staying organized and self-motivated. \n Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). \n Previous experience in a remote work setting would be beneficial but is not mandatory. \n Familiarity with community resources and referrals available for clients in the Kennewick area. \n Compensation and Benefits\n This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
