Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time

We're hiring a licensed PTA to work with one of our trusted clients where you'll support patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries-helping them manage pain and regain movement-under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Florida.
• Ability to provide physical therapy treatment in an outpatient setting per an established plan under PT supervision.
• Experience or comfort documenting treatment and patient interactions in an electronic medical record system.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients skillfully and safely through levels of treatment within patient capabilities.
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and condition changes.
• Document all treatment and pertinent patient interactions in accordance with policies.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home programs and activities.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow clinical skills and clinic culture.
