RN Weekend Supervisor

Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor at Bell Minor Home in Gainesville, GA. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our nursing assistants on Saturdays and Sundays . This is a part-time position (with the opportunity to pick up shifts) requiring a high level of professionalism, leadership, and organizational skills. Essential Job Functions: Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities. Verify that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures. Perform routine charting duties and maintain accurate and detailed documentation. Administer medication as ordered by the physician and maintain accurate medication records. Provide physical assessment, deliver care, and maintain optimal resident comfort. Respond promptly to call lights and other resident needs. Consult with physicians and review resident charts as necessary.
