Number of Beds: 17 Operating Rooms; 1 Bed ER (Not trauma designated)

Number of Staff: 70

Staffing Type: One scrub and one circulator per room, with support techs available for assistance. Most surgeons have a PA/CST/NP to aid during surgeries.

Hiring Profile

Essential Skills: Large Joint and Spine Orthopedic Experience

Preferred Skills: Well versed in total joints and spine

Typical Procedures

The unit performs various orthopedic surgeries, including large joints, hand, foot, scopes, and spine. Note: No neurosurgery is performed in this unit.

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Ciel Blue (sky blue)

Additional Information: Hospital does not provide scrubs.

Work Guidelines

Report to work at 6:45 AM.

Huddles occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Shift ends at 5:15 PM; there is no second shift relief.

On-call approximately 4 times per month, Monday to Friday only (no weekend call). Most on-call shifts require staying over to complete cases.
