Job Description
The Preschool Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of three and four-year-old children. This role includes creating weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, conducting ongoing progress assessments, and maintaining accurate student records.
The Lead Teacher manages all aspects of the classroom, including establishing routines, maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, and promoting positive behavior through effective classroom management strategies. The teacher also supervises assistant staff, communicates regularly with parents regarding student progress, and ensures compliance with all licensing and center policies.
Strong organization, communication, and a passion for early childhood education are essential for success in this role.
