Quality Supervisor

Custom Staffing is looking for a supervisor that is dedicated to excellence, continual improvement, and customer satisfaction in all they do. Location: Lima, OH Schedule: 12:00pm - 8:00pm Pay Rate: $25+ depending on experience Position Summary Directly supervises hourly associates and directs resources as required. Oversees the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities. Oversees the work of production associates and coordinates with leaders of production support staff; communicates expectations and provides direction and training. Monitors work performance and provides feedback. Oversees process control and quality process control. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 3 years as a production supervisor or 5 years as a lead operator in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Standards is a plus Candidate must have good written and oral communication skills. Strong quantitative and qualitative capabilities are a plus Some college is preferred but not required Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel Job Requirements Supervises production associate outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures. Records production by completing daily shift production reports. Maintains working relationship with union. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy production process environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns. Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE. Manufacturing experience needed. Managerial experience needed. All other duties as assigned. Physical Requirement Work will require individual to enter plant areas where performance factors such as heat, humidity, noise, lifting of materials and working around equipment will be encountered. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
