About the Role

The Company is in search of a Division Chief for Hematology Oncology and Medical Director for its Cancer Center. The successful candidate will be a visionary physician leader, providing strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership for the division and the cancer center. Key responsibilities include the continued development of a multidisciplinary oncology program, directing multi-disciplinary clinical services, and increasing clinical trials while strengthening collaborations with various research entities. The role also involves advancing academic scholarship, increasing extramural funding, and, as a priority, retaining, recruiting, mentoring, and developing oncology faculty. The Division Chief will be expected to engage in direct patient care and to advise and provide oversight of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. Applicants must have an MD or DO, be ABMS Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and ABMS Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology. A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice and 2 years of clinical leadership experience is required, with a preference for those with additional years in both areas, as well as in research, and a demonstrated track record in clinical trials, scholarship, and extramural funding.
