Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Telemetry unit. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients on the 4th and 5th floors, specializing in medical-surgical telemetry nursing. This position involves managing patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and patient conditions.
• Assist in a variety of medical procedures such as abdominal surgeries, diagnostic procedures, and orthopedic repairs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond to patient needs accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current RN license and certifications including ACLS and BLS.
• Telemetry experience and Med Surg background are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac recognition and IV starts is preferred.
