If your answer is yes, then get ready to get a taste of the fine dining world at Nusr-Et.We are looking for an experienced Operations Accountant to monitor financial data and prepare accurate statements for our company with Finance Manager. Operational Accountant responsibilities include F&B cost calculations, accounts receivable and accounts payable management and performing internal audits. You will act as a consultant for senior restaurant managers, conducting cost and revenue analyses. To be qualified for this role, you should have a degree in accounting or a relevant field and relevant work experience. Ultimately, you will ensure about the F&B cost calculations and AR-AP control.What Are We Looking For?Proven work experience as an Operational Accountant or similar roleGood knowledge of MS Excel Accounting softwareBS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant fieldAdditional certification (eg, CPA) is a plusStrong analytical skills and high attention to detail.Large-scale fine dining restaurant background strongly preferred.Excellent follow-up, organization, communication, and accountability.Ability to work cross-functionally with Culinary, Beverage, Operations, and vendors.Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.Toast POS system and StockTake Inventory Software experience preferred.What Will You Work On?Monitor daily sales, cash reconciliation, credit card batches, and deposits and petty cash (overseeing the cashier team and assisting them)Working closely with outsource accounting team (Paperchase) to finalize the weekly and monthly reportsOversee weekly food inventory and biweekly beverage inventory counts, checking variances.Monitor food, beverage, and operating supply costs using StockTake Inventory SoftwareAnalyze purchasing trends and inventory turnoverReview purchase orders and vendor invoices, negotiate and look for better pricing optionAssist with system implementations and operational process improvements if necessaryWork closely with operation managers to improve operational efficiency in terms of menu price, recipes, Pos updates etc.Assist with month end closing procedures and financial reportingReview and approve accounts payable invoicesWhat's In Store For You?Daily breakfast and lunch providedHealth Insurance covered 100% by Nusret Steakhouse, for employees onlyVision Insurance and Dental InsuranceLife Insurance 1 X your salaryPTO – 80 hours accruedJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeApplication Question(s):What is your salary expectation?Can you travel if needed?Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 3 years (Preferred)Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)Food and Beverage: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: In person
