Responsibilities
- Respond immediately to critical events (e.g., code blue, code red, code 100) and provide leadership and follow-up.
- Adjust staffing levels to ensure high-quality patient care; continuously evaluate staffing needs for current and upcoming shifts.
- Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff; provide clinical consultation, education, and problem-solving support.
- Lead staff through conflict resolution, document appropriate follow-up, and advocate for patients, families, and staff.
- Maintain operations across departments during non-operating hours and support patient rights and interdepartmental coordination.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Associate degree in Nursing (required)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Three to four years acute care experience; prior management/leadership experience required
- Leadership and decision-making skills; ability to function as a clinical and administrative resource
- Physical capability to meet essential physical demands (exert up to 20 pounds occasionally; frequent reaching and handling)
