Contract | Days | 4x10, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with electrophysiology procedures including device implantations and ablations, demonstrating proficiency in scrubbing EP cases
• Manipulate angiography equipment including digital angiographic systems; select, evaluate, and process digital images
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care for cardiovascular patients as needed
• Collaborate closely with Radiology staff, OR staff, Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists across a wide range of interventional procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all equipment and supplies used in special procedures; perform routine department duties when not performing EP procedures
• Adapt to stressful and emergency situations while communicating effectively; ability to stand for extended periods wearing required protective equipment (lead apron, mask, gown, glasses, and gloves)

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
• BLS certification from AHA only
• Minimum 1 year of EP lab experience
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for assignments running November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted
• Must wear surgical scrubs as provided by the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from AHA only
• Proficiency with digital angiography equipment, interventional equipment, PACS, and computers
• Experience working with EPIC EMR
• Easygoing personality with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
