Lead Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum, ensuring the comfort and well-being of retired Sisters and those with acute, chronic, or terminal conditions. Responsibilities include applying knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, and effective communication, while considering age-related differences when delivering or delegating care. Requirements include an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) from an accredited nursing school, current RN licensure in Texas, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should be able to interpret medical records, physician orders, and care plans. Preferred qualifications are at least one year of gerontology experience, supervisory experience, and knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric-related medications.
