Job Full Description

Spot-Welder | Belvidere, IL | Full Time | $17/ hour+ based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reliable - you must be on time and be at all scheduled shifts in order to meet production levels
Prepares for welding, such as grinding and degreasing parts, etc.
Reads and interprets blueprints
Performs welding by using a variety of processes TIG and MIG preferred, resistance spot welding
Follows WPS and PQR according to the AWS code welding
Detail oriented, careful and takes pride in the work you produce
Perform other metal fabrication and assembly tasks to complete customer orders
Perform QC checks
Experience with hand tools and ability to use a tape measurer, gauges and digital measuring tools
Personable, friendly, extremely respectful and a positive attitude

Education / Experience Required

HS/GED required
Must be able to obtain AWS certification and forklift certification.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
