What Were Looking For: Valid and current Illinois teaching license and certification CTE (Career and Technical Education) endorsement required Proven experience in a school-based education setting Background in general education at the junior high level preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction Must be available for a 30-minute interview Core Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning needs Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support personnel to ensure student success Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and discipline Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required This contract position offers an exciting chance to contribute to a vibrant educational community and help shape young minds.
