Description:
Act as back office clerical support staff in promoting patient care flow. The PCC is the main contact person for the patients who are paneled to their assigned provider team.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls for patients who are paneled to the assigned provider team
- Schedule patients for follow up appointments per scheduling protocols
- Provide clerical support for Emergency Room, Hospitalization, X-Ray or other Diagnostic Studies tracking as needed for patients who are paneled to the assigned provider team
- Enter, edit and update patient demographic and/or clinical information accurately to ensure quality data
- Obtain charts as needed from Medical Records for current patient service needs
- Other duties as required
High School Diploma or GED. Two to Four years of clerical/medical experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Bilingual Preferred
