Schedule: Part-Time | Weekend Shift | 8-Hour Shifts
Join Our Team!La Jolla Post-Acute is looking for an experienced Treatment Nurse with a background in wound care to join our team! We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented nursing professional committed to providing quality care and improving residents' health and well-being.
ResponsibilitiesPerform wound assessments, dressing changes, and prescribed treatments.
Monitor wound healing and identify signs of infection or complications.
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and residents' progress.
Follow infection control protocols and wound care standards.
Collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to ensure quality resident care.
Monitor residents' skin integrity and help prevent pressure injuries.
Current and valid California LVN license.
Previous experience as a Treatment Nurse or Wound Care Nurse preferred.
Hands-on experience with wound care, dressing changes, and skin integrity management.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
