This Position reports to:

IPU Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
• Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
• Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance.
• Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
• Prepares annual production budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; mechanical/electrical engineering preferred
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing/production environment
• 2+ years of management/supervisor experience
• SAP experience is highly preferred
• Flexibility to work other shifts as needed
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
