Registered Nurse (LTC) for a travel assignment in a hospital-type setting located in Lewiston, Maine. Start date 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect nursing care on LTC and transitional rehab units, maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment
- Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and routine clinical treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient status, document care in charts, and perform geriatric assessments as part of a holistic care plan
- Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Support residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia using approved verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and behavior management strategies
- Respond to clinical changes and emergencies, support fall prevention, and assist with discharge planning and rehabilitation goals

Requirements
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
- License: valid State of Maine RN license or a compact RN license
- Experience: 1–3 years of RN experience
- Knowledge/Skills: Medical terminology; strong teamwork and communication; ability to work within a team of care providers
- Additional: Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week and to float to other units as needed
- Location requirement: Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the assignment
