Barrell Zinc Operator- Machine Operator

All new hires will complete training on the 1st shift:

• 6:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m., MondayFriday
• Training may last up to 15 weeks

After completing training, you will move to the hired shift:

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 p.m. 11:00 p.m., MondayFriday ($22.00/hr)
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 p.m. 7:00 a.m. Sunday- Thursday ($23.00/hr)

Starting Pay:

• 1st Shift: $21.00/hr

Overtime:

• Certain areas work 2 to 4 hours before or after a scheduled shift. Including weekends

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

Position Overview

As a Machine Operator, you'll operate production equipment, ensure product quality, and support efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves loading and unloading parts, monitoring cycle times, and performing inspections to meet safety and quality standards.

Ideal Candidate

Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required.

What You Will Need

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, OR a 1-year technical certificate, OR equivalent combination
• Machine aptitude (preferred)
• Troubleshooting experience (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to:
• Lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and 100 lbs occasionally
• Stand for extended periods
• Walk, bend, twist, and use hands frequently
• Work in high temperatures (100120F near machines)

Work Environment

Team Members work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, machinery, and physical activity. Conditions include standing, lifting, bending, and operating equipment.
