Your Recipe For Impact — What You’ll Do As a Digital Product & eCommerce Senior Director, you will shape and lead Whataburger's digital commerce vision across web, mobile app, kiosk, and marketplace experiences. You'll drive growth by creating seamless, guest‑centric ordering journeys that are intuitive, scalable, and unmistakably Whataburger. Day‑to‑Day Ingredients — Responsibilities As a Digital Product & eCommerce Senior Director, you will: Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital commerce and omnichannel fulfillment. Lead digital experiences across web, mobile app, kiosk, and third‑party marketplace platforms. Drive growth in digital sales, conversion, order frequency, average check, and guest satisfaction. Prioritize product investments that balance guest needs, operational execution, and business value. Oversee digital menu, catalog, pricing, and ordering foundations across all channels. Champion experimentation, testing, and optimization to improve digital performance. Partner with Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Design to deliver scalable solutions. Establish KPIs, measurement frameworks, and performance reporting for digital experiences. Translate guest insights and business needs into product enhancements and innovation opportunities. Lead cross‑functional product delivery from prioritization through release and adoption. Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing team focused on accountability and results. Influence strategic decisions that advance Whataburger's digital transformation journey. Proven success developing and executing digital growth and product strategies. Experience managing first‑party and third‑party commerce performance and outcomes. Experience owning and improving key digital business and customer experience metrics. Strong background leading cross‑functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders. Expertise using data, insights, and KPIs to drive strategic decision‑making. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Extra Toppings — Desired Experience As a Digital Product & eCommerce Senior Director, we prefer you to have: Experience in QSR, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other high‑volume consumer environments. Experience scaling digital commerce during periods of rapid growth or transformation. Experience leading platform modernization, digital innovation, or omnichannel initiatives. Knowledge of digital fulfillment, marketplace ecosystems, and customer ordering journeys. Experience applying human‑centered design principles to digital product development. Advanced understanding of conversion optimization, personalization, and digital customer engagement. Experience leading large, geographically dispersed, or multi‑disciplinary teams. Where & How You’ll Work This role is based at the San Antonio Home Office, working on‑site Monday through Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays. In this role, you’ll have strong collaboration with leadership, across cross‑functional teams, and with external partners to align capabilities with restaurant realities. The work environment is fast‑paced and requires sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration skills. Full‑time availability is required, with occasional extended hours based on business needs, along with occasional travel to properties, project sites, and external meetings. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the San Antonio Home Office.
