Overview
MRI Technologist — Radiology, MRI specialty, in Cumming, GA. This travel assignment begins 09/14/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,093 to $2,189 per week, with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift is a weekend-focused 12-hour schedule (Friday–Sunday), typically 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., within a hospital-based radiology department.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging on a 720F MRI system, using appropriate sequences and protocols.
- Position patients, determine suitable imaging planes, and adjust sequences to optimize image quality while ensuring patient comfort.
- Administer or monitor contrast as required by protocol and safety guidelines; monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Process and review images for quality, ensure accurate labeling and documentation, and enter data in the Cerner system.
- Provide care to ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations; manage department workflow with an average patient volume aligned with the unit’s daily census.
- Support breast biopsy imaging exams and collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Adhere to MRI safety, infection control, and patient safety standards; assist with holiday and on-call coverage as required.

Requirements
- Certification: ARRT (RT) or MR, or ARMRIT (MR)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience in a clinical setting
- BLS: American Heart Association Basic Life Support required
- Skills: Cerner electronic medical record experience; ability to work in a hospital setting with ED/inpatient/outpatient care
- Other: Must be able to work a weekend-focused schedule and meet holiday coverage requirements; strong attention to patient safety and image quality
