Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in a critical care setting
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications; perform wound treatment and provide advanced life support
• Monitor and maintain proper function of ventilators, cardiac monitors, IABP, and other critical care equipment
• Observe and document patient vital signs; perform suctioning and assist physicians with procedures
• Respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols, serving as a patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families; may float between two campuses depending on facility census

Required Qualifications

• Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license (must be provided at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association)
• PALS or ENPC certification required (must be through the American Heart Association)
• Ability to occasionally care for pediatric and adolescent patients as needed (no dedicated pediatric unit on site)
• Willingness to float between two campus locations based on facility census

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a community hospital setting, either in a permanent or contract capacity
