The nurse will work three 12-hour shifts during daytime hours. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. An active nursing license must be held at the time of application. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Experience in cardiac telemetry is essential. Candidates should be experienced in managing and interpreting dysrhythmias. Knowledge of peripheral line care and PICC line management is necessary. The nurse will be responsible for titrating drips and managing patient care. Flexibility with scheduling is expected, including a potential for floating between units. The unit primarily cares for adult patients and offers telemetry-monitored beds. Candidates must be aware of and able to meet compliance requirements, including a pass/fail EKG exam. The role involves providing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions in a critical care environment. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential to patient care. All travelers may be required to float to various campuses as needed.
