Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Ohio

Assignment Duration: This is a contract position with a duration of 8 to 12 weeks, with options to extend based on performance and client needs.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with weekends as needed.

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. The RRT will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a critical care environment. The RRT must be prepared to float as needed at various facilities.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapies and interventions based on patient assessments.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilizes appropriate equipment and technologies for respiratory care.
• Monitors patients' progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary.
• Educates patients and families on respiratory health and wellness.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current NBRC and BLS certifications, both must be active and in hand at the time of submission.
• Must hold a valid RRT license for the state of Ohio.
• Additional certifications in specialty areas may be preferred.
