About the Position

Job Title: Central Sterile Technician Profession: Central Sterile Technician Specialty: Central Sterile Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Not specified Certifications: CRCST or NBSTSA CST required Must-Have: 36 hours, available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Description: Responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies. Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintains inventory and tracks usage of sterile supplies. Assists in the training of new staff members as needed. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure the availability of necessary instruments for procedures. Follows proper protocols for handling and disposing of contaminated materials. Participates in maintaining quality assurance standards within the department. Provides support for the operational needs of the sterile processing department.
