## Animal Wellbeing Monitor 4Applylocations: Louisa County Plant - Columbus Junction, Iowatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: June 17, 2026 (6 days left to apply)job requisition id: R0466677**Job Details:*****A resume must be submitted with the application to be eligible for consideration.*****Summary**This position is responsible for ensuring animal well-being during the unloading process from the truck and movement through the alleys and yards of the livestock area.**Responsibilities include:*** Monitoring the manner in which animals are handled by the producer and other livestock handlers while unloading.* Responding to any animal that goes down while being moved from transit to the holding pen.* Separating any sick or disabled animals from the other animals to ensure they receive proper treatment and aren't injured by the other animals.* Performing other duties as assigned.Shift A: 7:30AM – 6:00PM; Monday - Friday (Saturday as needed).**Requirements****Education:*** High School diploma or equivalent.**Experience:*** Experience working with animals is preferred but not needed.**Communication Skills:*** Must be able to communicate with all Team Members and the producers delivering the animals.**Special Skills:*** Good observation skills; conscientious about treatment of animals.*This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility.
