Driver NON CDL Local No Weekends

Position Description Ryder is hiring a NON‑CDL Truck Driver in Batavia, NY — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Pay and Schedule Weekly pay $950–$1,200 Hours: 40+ per week Solo miles pay: $0.37 per mile Solo stops pay: $12.00 per stop Paid training Schedule: Monday–Friday (no weekends) Start time: 6:00 AM–7:00 AM Vehicle and Route Deliver solo within a 120‑mile radius of Batavia, NY Route: Local Home‑Daily Truck type: Box truck (16’, 22’, or 26’) Equipment: Pallet jack, lift gate, hand truck Ryder will train on all required equipment Freight type: Touch – Auto parts Benefits Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in the first year (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided Driver’s independence with safety decisions and job protection 401(k) rollover available now with company match after 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility criteria) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech, and more Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience Pass a Ryder drug test Must have verifiable driving experience with equipment matching the position (straight truck or box truck): 6 months of experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Valid driver’s license Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures Responsibilities Safely drive the assigned vehicle and comply with all safety regulations, training, and customer service expectations Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards Maintain accurate records; load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by the customer Perform other tasks as assigned EEO Statement Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and drug‑free workplace.
