Position Head JV Coach for Co‑ed Track & Field Location Chicago, IL Job Id 217 Openings 1 Department Athletics Classification: Exempt Reports to: Athletic Director Schedule: Seasonal Overview Christo Rey Jesuit High School seeks an Assistant Coach for coed Track & Field. The successful candidate will have a commitment to Catholic education and willingness to work with a population of diverse learners. The coach is dedicated to developing the whole person in sport, character, and skills for success in life. Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for leading the boys and girls track & field teams in collaboration with one or two assistant coaches. Qualifications Strong background in the sport. Excellent role model. Flexible in nature and dedicated to empowering Hispanic student-athletes. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; familiarity with the mission of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School; the ability to respond effectively to the needs of student-athletes. Minimum 21 years of age, driver’s license preferred. Ability to use technology in support of instruction and athlete development. Commitment to working with a diverse student body. Familiarity with Spanish language and first-generation college bound students preferred. Willingness to collaborate with others.
