Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Details Salary: $60,000 - $62,000 per year Hybrid Schedule Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic accounting team. This role is responsible for the full-cycle management of accounts payable processes in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Manage and execute end‑to‑end accounts payable processes Verify and process day‑to‑day invoices and payment requests in a timely manner Prepare and execute payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues Maintain accurate AP records within the accounting system Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly Provide AP education to internal and external stakeholders on proper procedures Assist with month‑end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounts payable or related experience Familiarity with 1099 processing Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and productivity Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook Experience with ERP systems Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills Highly motivated with the ability to embrace change and challenge Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision Basic Life and Accidental Death HSA Long‑Term disability PTO 401(k) with match Free car wash Professional development and career growth opportunities Supportive, inclusive work environment with team‑building activities Equal Opportunity Employer Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
