Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Vernon Hills, IL 60061
Employment Type: Contract-Direct Hire
Salary: $33-36 per hour
Schedule: Flexible hours (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days remote per week following training (typically Thursday and Friday)

We are seeking a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, helping attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, leveraging innovative sourcing strategies, and making a direct impact on organizational growth.

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding.
• Develop creative recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent for a variety of positions.
• Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including direct outreach, professional associations, social media platforms, talent databases, and networking opportunities.
• Leverage ATS tools, AI-powered search capabilities, and recruiting analytics to improve candidate identification and engagement.
• Coordinate and manage all interview scheduling, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Conduct background checks and oversee pre-employment communications and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide recruiting support and guidance throughout the process.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, networking, and candidate assessment.
• Experience supporting recruiting operations, processes, and workflow management.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and sourcing methods, including job boards, social media platforms, talent databases, and web-based search tools.
• Proven ability to identify, engage, and secure qualified candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
